On Saturday, I attended the Friendship Pow Wow in Hawaiian Gardens, Ca... for a few hours to get re-connected with friends and family.... here are some pictures
Spending time with good friends and old traditions is just one of many reason why I return to where I first approached my journey to find my families heritage...it was these good folks that encouraged me to pursue my true native American Heritage...and gave me acceptance into this Native American world. I have danced Gourd, Southern Drummed with a good family that took us in... I have to give my gratitude to those who have supported me, and others to find the truth.
With all things in the circle, change was one of them for me... around the time I stopped dancing and drumming... I met up with a Cahuilla that was one of my wifes students... His influence would launch me into a world I could have only imagined and more....
